For the sustainability research we used the following tools:

Conclusions:
Eventhough the cotton scores 95% on the Higg index. H&M has the vision to change it before 2040. In 2030 they want to make use of 100% recycled materials and other sustainable sourced materials.

Looking at the outcomes from the Nike making APP and Made-By benchmark Polyester doesn’t quite has the outcome as we thought it would be. It is one some points so much better than the used cotton in our product.
The two main points are the chemistry and energy use. These are the points which need to change to make polyester a less of an impact material on the environment.
